"A Sprinkle of Salsa"

In one of the recent celebrity weddings We were lucky enough to witness and capture the memories of none other than John Britto, a self-taught dancer, now a famous choreographer with his own company! He had pioneered South India's largest dance eduction movement, and started the first western dance school in Tamil Nadu. We knew Rina from before, as we had covered the photography of her brother three years prior!

In the video, we're started off with a teaser of what's to come, just as many dance performances do. We see a splash of every stage that the couple adorned, as well as its happy guests in their colourful attire with moods to match. And now, in true spirit of John Britto and everything his work stands for, join us in this celebration of love and its many shades of happiness.

The Sangeeth night of John and Rina, on the 10th of December, 2017, is indeed a night to cherish forever. Themed as "The Desi Danda Nakka", with adorable caricatures of the couple, the night had begun on just the right amount of upbeat nuttiness.

There were tables with bright pink turbans for enthusiastic guests, a miniature tree with a spread of colourful papers, for anyone who wanted to write a quick note blessing the couple, or sending out a happy cheer. Another table with tiny tuxedo-shaped boxes, which were the return gifts, were lined up for their guests as a thank you for being present at their Sangeeth, and also serving as a reminder of the special place they hold in their hearts.

It was a celebration where both young and old alike, jumped around and danced to their heart's content. Many young children, perhaps also aspiring to be like John, showcased their natural talents. With all this, as well as John and Rina's open proclamation of love for each other, it was one eventful night. There were indeed many kala chashmas flying around all through the night!

The exchange of Wedding Vows in the church on the 14th of December, 2017, was a lovely, traditional, Christian ceremony. Rina looked absolutely charming in her beautiful white, lace wedding gown, and John was as dashing as ever in his Black suit and bow-tie. We caught a glimpse of the couple before they were officially made "Husband and Wife", and they both shared some sweet and kind words about each other.

From a kiss on the hand at church, we transition into an evening of Mehendi Maalai. It was celebrated in typical Indian style, and once again, music and dance was enjoyed by all. This was followed by the final destination on the list, ie. the Wedding Reception. Rina was absolutely glowing in her purple saree , with John gushing by her side. We even had many redeemed guests and celebrities, as well as several of the contestants from Big Boss. Sivakarthikeyan, too, had graced us with his presence. As they received greetings, wishes, and blessings alike, they also indulged in several selfies. With this, we reach the end of the story of their Wedding Celebrations

Haha! No! This is John Britto and Rina we're talking about! Of course, there's a surprise twist! What better way to end it all apart from a Wedding Reception, you ask? Well, Tamilan swag Night, of course! There was karaoke, dancing and plenty of Kuthu. John and Rina invited everyone involved in the back of the scenes, who made the wedding a grand event. That included the event managers, the DJ, the photographers, etc., just to mention a few... introduced them to the crowd, and made them all dance and join in the celebration. And ending with a quick montage of hugs and kisses from all the previous events, we finally reach the end. . . . . . .

No, really. That was the end. But keep scrolling, and go enjoy the photos now. . . . . . Also don't forget to check out the lip dub video, and the Great Wedding Mannequin Challenge! :)
